Adapec ends the year with investments in restructuring and advances in the release of agro-industries
The number of agribusinesses registered with the SIE grew by 30% this year and investments in vehicles and technology advanced considerably
The correct application of agricultural inputs is the starting point for successful management. In line with this permanent need among farmers, the Integrated Application Technology Unit (UniTA) is visiting strategic agricultural markets in Brazil, in Mato Grosso, Mato Grosso do Sul, Goiás, São Paulo, Minas Gerais, Bahia, Paraná, Santa Catarina, Rio Grande do Sul; and in Paraguay, South America.
Bruno Neves, Agricultural Engineer and Research & Development Manager at Essere Group, the holding company that designed this operation, notes that with the growing demand for excellence in agricultural production it is necessary to remedy the “pains” of rural producers, including those referred to to the application market. He says that there is, for example, a complexity in the arrangement between products that make up the spray mixture, as well as the challenge of equalizing the ideal application volume for each crop and/or phenological stage.
“As a rule, the ideal sequence is water, adjuvant, more concentrated products and less concentrated products in the sequence”, he advises. Increasing the level of knowledge of operators, farmers, consultants and the like regarding application technology is UniTA's objective. This project goes beyond the mobile laboratory with cutting-edge equipment used to evaluate and monitor the application of inputs necessary for good agricultural management; is an educational project, whose purpose is to guide the rational and appropriate use of products to promote better efficiency in phytotechnical management in the field, including the correct use of adjuvants.
Since it began operations four months ago, UniTA has had a positive impact among those who have been served. Through the team of specialists in input application technology, spray nozzles and use of adjuvants, rural producers and consultants have benefited by increasing the level of knowledge on the appropriate calibration of equipment; how many and what sprays are necessary; what is the best time for each application; whether an application should be aerial or ground; and even how to optimize the products used between applications and in each mixture. “In this way, there is an effective contribution to reducing environmental impacts, increasing efficiency in the application and performance of applied products”, observes Bruno Neves.
Essere Group is a holding company created in 2021 to manage the companies Bionat, Floema, Kimberlit and Loyder, which are currently in the agricultural inputs and bio-inputs market.
