Unipampa and Embrapa select candidates for a master's degree in applied computing for agriculture

The Federal University of Pampa (Unipampa) and Embrapa Pecuária Sul are selecting students for the academic master's degree in applied computing, with a concentration in technologies for agricultural production. 10 places are being made available and registrations can be made until January 02, 2023.

The notice, with all selection instructions, can be accessed on the Postgraduate Program in Applied Computing (PPGCAP) page, on the Unipampa portal (click here).

Graduates of undergraduate courses in the areas of Computing, Engineering, Exact Sciences and Agricultural Sciences can apply. Classes begin in the first semester of 2023, in person.

Master in Applied Computing

PPGCAP seeks to develop research and products, technological innovation and training of people in the area of ​​technologies for agricultural production. The Program has ten permanent teachers, five from Unipampa and five from Embrapa Pecuária Sul. PPGCAP aims to apply computational techniques to solve problems in agricultural production. The lines of research are based on: precision agriculture and computational modeling of the soil-plant-animal system.

The work developed in the master's program generally addresses the development of hardware and software products to support decision-making by rural producers; control of agricultural equipment; sensor networks for data collection; data science; optimization of production processes; and image recognition, among others.
