UPL appoints Déborah Cavalcante as communications manager

Déborah Cavalcante has been appointed as communications manager at UPL. She has over ten years of experience in communications and strategic branding, working in Latin America, Europe, and Asia.

Prior to UPL, Déborah worked as branding and communications manager at Rainbow Agro, between April 2024 and June 2026. At the company, she structured and expanded corporate communications, with actions in public relations, events, digital campaigns, and internal communication. She also led the company's first institutional campaign, implemented in countries in Latin America and Europe.

Between December 2020 and April 2024, she worked as a marketing and branding communications coordinator at Bayer Crop Science. During that time, she managed biotechnology brand communications in the seed segment and participated in the launch of a strategic initiative in the biotechnology sector.

The executive also worked at Sindiveg, where she served as marketing, communication, and public relations coordinator in 2020. Prior to that, she worked at Grupo ECI, Synapse, Syngenta, and Uni Design e Comunicação.

Her career path includes projects in digital and traditional marketing, corporate storytelling, public relations, internal communication, event planning, and brand architecture. Déborah has also collaborated with multicultural teams on different continents, focusing on strategies aligned with global objectives and local impact.
