Trimble brings the GFX-350 monitor and the NAV-500 controller to Brazil. The technologies form a cost-effective set of solutions ideal for farmers looking to adopt precision agriculture for their daily operations.
Continuing the Trimble tradition of touchscreen, high-definition, Android-based displays, the GFX-350 monitor is a cost-effective way to introduce autopilot and application control to the property. The 7-inch screen is easy to use and can be used to control most field operations with just a few taps. The monitor is compatible with both the new NAV-500 and the previous NAV-900 guidance controllers, meeting different user precision needs. The Precision-IQ operating system speeds up field work and makes equipment setup easier. After the machines, area, implements and materials are configured during the first use, they are saved and can be reused with just a few clicks.
Additionally, the GFX-350 display is fully ISOBUS compatible, offering plug-and-play capability for ISOBUS-enabled implements with native task controller and universal terminal functionality. The monitor also features onboard Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity, enabling seamless data sharing between the office and the field through optional Trimble Connected Farm solutions. General record keeping and positioning reporting are even more simplified.
The NAV-500 navigator has a robust housing and is capable of receiving signals from different GNSS satellite multi-constellations such as- GPS, Galileo, GLONASS, BeiDou and QZSS. The solution offers repeatable sub-meter accuracy and full farm coverage, ideal for lime, spraying and harvesting. Paired with the new GFX-350 display or GFX-750 display, the NAV-500 can provide manual guidance or control steering automatically with the EZ-Steer electric power steering system or EZ-Pilot Pro steering system.
“Connectivity and flexibility of use and applications are very important differentiators for agricultural producers and Trimble has made this new type of configuration one of the main pillars of our product portfolio", said José Bueno, Commercial Director for Latin America at the division agriculture from Trimble. Customers can choose from a variety of hardware and software options to meet their specific needs and budget. And the true beauty of this flexible product integration is that it can grow with the farmer's operation. Updates can be as simple as switching to a higher precision correction signal or using existing brackets to install a larger, more capable receiver or monitor. Ease of installation and use are essential with the GFX-350, and this is sure to reduce barriers to entry of new farmers into precision agriculture.
The GFX-350 Monitor and NAV-500 Navigator are designed for a simple, clean installation that can be completed in a few hours or minutes, depending on the machine.
