On January 16, Cooperativa Tradição announced an expansion in its operations by establishing a strategic partnership with Corteva Agriscience. From now on, the cooperative is accredited to redistribute Brevant brand corn seeds, as well as Corteva's Pasture Line.

Tradição's vice president and commercial manager, Gelson Correa (pictured, left), highlighted that this initiative reinforces the cooperative’s position in the seed market. “We are currently one of the largest seed multipliers in Brazil. With this announcement, we have further strengthened our ties with Corteva. Now, in the Southwest region, companies that need corn and pasture seeds from our partner’s brand will be served by Tradição,” he stated.

For the commercial manager of Sementes Tradição, Kamargo Ribeiro (pictured, center), the launch of this partnership is in line with Tradição’s purpose, which is to offer the best technology to the market, resulting in increased agricultural production. “It is in Tradição’s DNA to be the guiding thread of technologies for the market. Corteva conducts its genetic improvement research in the United States, one of the largest corn producers in the world. From now on, this technology will reach the crops of the Southeast through our cooperation,” he highlighted.

Corteva's Key Account Manager, Cassiano Alexandre Pavelegine de Medeiros (pictured, right), emphasized the strengthening of the collaboration with Tradição, now focused on the wholesale market. “We are excited about the start of these new businesses, facilitating access to our solutions for small farmers in southwest Paraná,” he commented.

The partnership foresees that all Brevant brand corn seeds and the Corteva Pasture Line, in the Southwest region, will be sold by the Tradição cooperative, further strengthening the Cooperative's presence in the market.
