To learn about technologies, discover innovations in the field and in search of increasing productivity in crops, producers gathered at the 16th edition of Tecnoeste – Rural Technological Show of the West of Santa Catarina.

The theme of the 2022 edition was “Management, quality of life and succession on rural property”. From February 15th to 17th, several innovations aimed at agribusiness, with an emphasis on the areas of value addition, agriculture, poultry farming, beef and dairy cattle farming, machinery and equipment, environment, sheep farming, fish farming, reforestation, pig farming, among other topics , were on display for farmers to learn about and ask questions.

Microgeo, a 100% Brazilian company in the biological sector, participated in the event and presented MICROGEO technology – a balanced component that nourishes, regulates and maintains the continuous production of Biological Fertilizer through the Continuous Liquid Composting Process (CLC). The solution is the only one on the market that manages and restores the soil microbiome.

The Biological Fertilizer produced with Microgeo can be applied via spraying, fertigation, regardless of weather conditions in conjunction with other inputs such as chemical or biological pesticides and fertilizers.

"Tecnoeste is an event that, in addition to producers and the community, brings together students. It is also an educational event that opens up space for development and learning. One of Microgeo's values is to always invest in research to provide and prove the results and benefits of biological fertilizer in different crops and for us it makes a lot of sense to participate in this mission of providing education and promoting innovation and development", said Micael Bohnenberger, Regional Sales Manager at Microgeo.

The event was held by Copérdia and Instituto Federal Catarinense, Campus Concórdia, brought together around 300 exhibitors and welcomed more than 30 thousand people. All Covid-19 prevention protocols were respected.
