Bio Agriculture slows down in France
Still growing, the sector slows down and faces a drop in consumption due to rising prices
The most recent Agricultural Price Bulletin, prepared by the Economic Department of the Federation of Agriculture and Livestock of the State of São Paulo (FAESP), is now available. The document, which provides monthly monitoring of prices paid to producers in São Paulo, contains data from September 2022, obtained from Conab and Cepea/Esalq.
In addition to the Tahiti lemon, with an increase of 89,59% in the comparison between August and September this year, the increase in the price of dwarf bananas (38,90%) also stands out – the two crops had, in the comparison of the last 12 months, , appreciation of more than 100%.
The biggest negative changes in prices, also in the monthly comparison, were iceberg lettuce (drop of 22,16%) and curly lettuce (-18,18%).
