Syngenta changes its Biologicals & Seedcare business

Syngenta has announced Igor Lyra as the new head of Biologicals & Seedcare in Brazil. With over 17 years of experience in the agricultural sector, Lyra has held strategic positions in companies and institutions in the sector. Previously, he worked at the company as head of Biologicals & Seedcare for Latin America (Latam). 

An agricultural engineer, he has worked as Marketing Manager for Corn Seeds and Biotechnology at Syngenta, as well as being Commercial Director at Nidera and Regional Sales Manager at Dekalb. He was also Administrative Director at Fundação Bahia, where he structured the soybean business in partnership with Embrapa.
