Syngenta acquires Intrinsyx Bio and expands its operations in biologicals

Syngenta announced the acquisition of Intrinsyx Bio, a California-based startup focused on nutrient use efficiency (NUE) products. The transaction reinforces the company’s global leadership in the biologicals sector.

With the purchase, Syngenta now has full access to the Intrinsyx Bio portfolio, including the Nuello iN biological seed treatment, already sold in the US, UK, Benelux and Iberia.

The combination of Intrinsyx Bio’s technology and Syngenta’s global footprint is expected to accelerate the development and adoption of NUE solutions.
