Sumitomo Chemical participates in Summer Technological Show in Ponta Grossa (PR)

Sumitomo Chemical participates for the first time in the Summer Technological Show, organized by Fundação ABC. The event is an opportunity for the company to present its efficient solutions for the next harvest in the Campos Gerais region of Paraná. The Technological Show takes place on the 23rd and 24th of February, at the Demonstrative and Experimental Field in Ponta Grossa (PR).

The ABC Foundation is one of the main agricultural research institutions in Brazil and is supported by the Frísia, Castrolanda and Capal cooperatives. “To be able to supply cooperatives, our products are rigorously analyzed by experts from Fundação ABC, which is a reference in product testing and innovation”, explains Patrick Alexandre Menin, technical and sales representative at Sumitomo Chemical.

In this edition, the company will present several tests with the main products on the market. There will be a station with Zethamaxx, a pre-emergent herbicide against difficult-to-control weeds, both narrow and broad leaves, such as horseweed, bittergrass, pigweed, cloves, among others. The “Soja +” program will also be presented, with growth regulators MaxCel and ProGibb, with the first working to branch the plants and the second strengthening the flowering and pods.

The “Feijão +” program will be demonstrated with the growth regulators MaxCel (branching and structure) and Promalin (reproductive for flowering and pods, avoiding abortion). Abaday is also present to act on corn by shock and residual effect, guaranteeing long-term control against caterpillars. Sumyzin pre-emergent will also be present for weeds in corn.

In addition to solutions for the field, the Sumitomo Chemical stand features magic shows.

The Summer Technological Show turns 25 years old in 2022. Due to Covid-19, it will continue to follow all safety protocols, with the use of masks mandatory. The event takes place from 8am to 17pm, with free entry.
