Sumitomo Chemical has expanded its Productivity Expedition program to include soybean, corn, and cotton crops. The project, created in 2023 and consolidated in the pasture segment, will now also serve agriculture. The initiative provides specialized technical support to rural producers in different regions of Brazil.

The project's entry into the agricultural sector began with soybeans, between October and December 2025. From January 2026, the project expanded to corn and cotton. Activities continue daily until February 28th.

According to the company, the action replicates the methodology applied in livestock farming. The focus is on proximity to the producer, understanding local demands, and the practical application of technical solutions.

“The success of the editions focused on livestock farming showed that being close to the producer and providing technical solutions generates concrete results. Now, we are replicating this methodology for agriculture,” says Luciano Jaloto, marketing director of Sumitomo Chemical.

For each crop, the company presents a targeted technical portfolio. The recommendations prioritize productivity, crop protection, sustainability, and adherence to the producer's actual needs.

The Productivity Expedition is based on customized technical visits. Specialized teams assess areas, provide management guidance, and present solutions that add value to the production system. The proposal translates technical knowledge into results in the field, with exclusive protocols adapted to each production reality.
