Faced with the current socioeconomic and political situation in Brazil, agribusiness confirms its strength and points to growth of 2017% for 2, according to data from the Brazilian Confederation of Agriculture and Livestock (CNA) – which corresponds to half of the Gross Domestic Product ( GDP) of the country. Last year alone, the agricultural input distribution market generated around R$34 billion, including fertilizers, plant nutrition products and veterinary medicines.
ANDAV - National Association of Agricultural and Veterinary Input Distributors - as the main entity in this segment that employs more than 50 thousand professionals and is responsible for 70% of input sales, analyzes the growing prominence of the sector and warns of the rapid change in its profile of the entrepreneur who runs distribution, with strategic business management being paramount today.
The theme and its developments will be highlighted at the VII ANDAV Congress – Forum & Exhibition – which takes place between the 14th and 16th of August, at the Transamerica Expocenter, in São Paulo - SP, and will bring together the entire agribusiness production chain to present trends, discuss actions and ideas in order to maintain the business growth challenge for the coming years.
Considered the largest event in the agricultural input distribution segment in the world, the ANDAV Congress brought together 4.359 visitors, 890 delegates and 73 exhibitors last year.
The exhibition brings together national and international brands that will present their news and launches in fertilizers, pesticides, animal nutrition, seeds, precision agriculture, commercial automation, financial and insurance solutions, among others. Visiting the exhibition is free and restricted to professionals in the sector.
“Traditionally, the ANDAV Congress attracts distributors from all over the country and creates a complete atmosphere, bringing together knowledge, networking, innovation, product launches and future scenarios”, analyzes Henrique Mazotini, executive president of ANDAV.
