Stara announced a partnership with Starlink, a US satellite internet company, to equip its agricultural machinery with high-speed, low-latency connectivity. This development, which marks an important step toward technological innovation, coincides with the manufacturer's 65th anniversary celebrations.
Second Attila Stapelbroek Trennepohl (pictured), CEO of Stara, the initiative represents a breakthrough as relevant as the emergence of the urban internet around 25 years ago, an event that transformed the way companies and consumers access information.
"This innovation will allow us to optimize access to and use of the information our machines already generate, enhancing services such as Conecta, Telemetria, Syncro, and Machine Monitoring. Over time, it will also open up space for new tools and solutions, bringing even greater benefits to rural producers," he states.
Stara's self-propelled vehicles are expected to ship from the factory with Starlink kits starting in the first half of 2026, granting farmers direct access to the advanced constellation of satellites in low-Earth orbit. This connection promises to not only improve machine communication but also boost productivity and efficiency in the field.
