Stara launches new version of the Absoluta planter at Expodireto Cotrijal.

At Expodireto Cotrijal 2026, Stara launched the new version of the Absoluta planter. The machine expands its focus on planting efficiency and operational performance, factors that directly influence crop performance.

Developed to combine work autonomy and embedded technology, the Absoluta incorporates solutions focused on planting line stability, precision in seed placement, and operational efficiency.

Available in 24 to 49 row configurations, the planter caters to different production scales. The technical highlight is the Stara Integrated Copying system, which performs triple soil copying. This involves chassis articulation via hydraulic pistons, module copying, and individual articulation of the seed rows.

The hydraulic pistons maintain uniform pressure in the lines from end to end. The adjustment occurs directly on the Topper. The system offers 20 degrees of total articulation. The combined line achieves 1,20 meters of articulation, increasing adaptation to the terrain and maintaining adequate deposition depth.

The machine also incorporates hydraulic pressure control in the seed rows. The system reduces vibrations and maintains stability during planting. The adjustment is made via the Topper. The cutting power is also hydraulically adjustable. The modules adapt automatically to the soil.

In distribution, Absoluta uses the DPS-E electric metering system. The system reduces seed failures and double seed placement. The technology compensates for seed rate on curves, maintaining uniform population and spacing between inner and outer rows. The machine also includes variable rate application and row-by-row shutoff.

Systems integration

Another distinguishing feature involves the integration of small seed, seed, and in-furrow spraying systems directly from the factory. The small seed system allows for intercropping and uses pneumatic distribution. The rate can be adjusted on the Topper starting from 2 kg per hectare. The system allows for section shutoff for finishing touches.

The in-furrow spraying system maintains constant agitation of the spray mixture and automatically adjusts the rate according to the spray speed. The system features section shut-off and a clean water reservoir for cleaning.

The central reservoirs ensure autonomy and ease of refilling. In the three-module versions, capacities reach 4.266 liters of seeds, 2.400 liters of liquid, and 1.100 liters of small seeds. In the five-module chassis, volumes reach 5.700 liters of seeds, 3.200 liters of liquid, and 1.100 liters of small seeds.

The planter also integrates the Land Space technological ecosystem. The system connects machine monitoring, telemetry, Syncro Net, and Conecta. The machine leaves the factory with Row-by-Row Shut-off and Zero Crushing calibrated.

With a transport width of 3,20 meters, the Absoluta allows for agile movement between areas. Opening and closing take less than a minute. The structure has few lubrication points, with maintenance recommended before planting.
