Soybean sowing progresses in Brazil and the climate favors expectations of a good harvest

The cultivation of the 2021/22 soybean season is at an accelerated pace in Brazil, and the climate has favored crops, generating expectations of greater productivity. In this scenario, according to information from Cepea, sellers are more willing to negotiate the remainder of the 2020/21 season, releasing warehouses for the arrival of the new harvest.

With accelerated cultivation, expectations of greater supply and more willing to negotiate, oilseed prices continued to fall. Between 5 and 12 November, the ESALQ/BM&FBovespa – Paranaguá Indicator fell 2,18%, closing at R$ 159,17/60 kg bag this Friday, 12th. The CEPEA/ESALQ Indicator – Paraná fell 2,13% in the same comparison, reaching R$ 156,39/sc.
