Brazilian soybean production is expected to reach a record 133,5 million tons in the 2020/21 harvest and grow 4,4% in productivity according to the National Supply Company (Conab).

The month of September marks the beginning of crop planting, when farmers put into practice all their learnings to achieve high productivity in the new cycle.

However, before placing the seed in the ground, you need to pay attention to some precautions that are essential for the success of the crop.

Several factors affect the result, such as management, climate, incidence of pests and diseases, among others. With this in mind and to contribute and assist soybean farmers, Basf listened to the champions of the CESB (Brazil Soy Strategic Committee) Productivity Challenge.
