Inmet: weather forecast for Thursday (October 1st) and Friday (October 2nd)
A cold front is increasing instability in the Central-West and Southeast regions, with a risk of storms and hail.
Soybean planting for the 2026/27 crop has advanced to 28% of the planned area in Paraná after the end of the sanitary break on September 20th. Good soil moisture conditions, combined with sunny periods, favored the progress of fieldwork. The Department of Rural Economy (Deral), of the Secretariat of Agriculture and Supply (Seab), estimates the cultivation of more than 5,74 million hectares in the state this season.
According to Deral market analyst Edmar Wardensk Gervasio, the pace of work is above the average recorded in recent harvests. "In part, this progress is explained by weather conditions, but also by producers' decision to accelerate planting as much as possible to minimize the risk of delays or even damage due to the forecast of above-average rainfall in the coming months," he assesses.
Deral reports that the planted crops are showing good growth conditions. Most areas are still in the germination phase.
