Smart and sustainable agriculture is highlighted at Bahia Farm Show

The event will take place from June 9th to 14th, and will have as its main theme “Smart Agriculture, Responsible Future”

The 19th edition of the Bahia Farm Show was officially launched in Salvador this Wednesday (26), with the presence of authorities such as Governor Jerônimo Rodrigues and the Secretary of Agriculture, Wallison Tum. The event, which takes place between June 9 and 14 in Luís Eduardo Magalhães, promises to bring together more than a thousand brands, with a focus on innovation in agribusiness.

The president of the Association of Farmers and Irrigators of Bahia (Aiba), Moisés Schmidt (pictured), highlighted this year's theme, “Smart Agriculture, Responsible Future”, emphasizing the presence of advanced technologies, such as artificial intelligence and renewable energy, as well as machinery and solutions in precision agriculture.

The governor emphasized the importance of the fair for the development of the Bahian agricultural sector and guaranteed support from the government, which will be present with several departments. The Bahia Farm Show is considered a showcase for innovation and a space for generating business and partnerships, boosting both agribusiness and family farming.

In addition to exhibitions, the event will feature livestock auctions, product demonstrations and lectures, promoting the exchange of knowledge and sustainable development in the field.
