SindiTabaco elects new board of directors

The Interstate Tobacco Industry Union (SindiTabaco) elected a new board of directors in a vote held in early September at the organization's headquarters in Santa Cruz do Sul, Rio Grande do Sul (RS). Valmor Thesing will officially take over as president of the organization on October 22. He succeeds Iro Schünke, who has led the union's activities since 2006.
