Simon Walter assumes the senior vice presidency of Nunhems

BASF announced that Simon Walter, who previously served as head of the vegetable business unit at the KWS Group, will assume leadership of Nunhems, its global vegetable seed unit. The appointment is effective September 1, 2026, when he will succeed Maximilian Becker as senior vice president. Becker joined the Executive Committee of BASF Agricultural Solutions on May 1, 2026.

Simon Walter has over seven years of experience in the global seed industry. He joined the KWS Group in 2019, where he has held various leadership positions. Throughout his career, he has developed extensive expertise in strategy, commercial leadership, and business development in international markets.
