FMC Corporation reports revenue of US$1,04 billion in the second quarter of 2024
FMC President and CEO Pierre Brondeau highlighted the significant increase in sales volumes, especially in the United States and Brazil
With the purpose of launching an agenda focused on logistical efficiency from the shipper's perspective for the country's competitiveness, the Brazilian Association of Vegetable Oil Industries (Abiove), together with the Association of Cereal Companies of Brazil (Acebra) and the Association National Cargo Transport Users Association (Anut), will hold, on August 8th, the seminar “Agenda 2030: Challenges of Brazilian Logistics for International Competitiveness”. The meeting is free and open to the public, and will take place at the headquarters of National Confederation of Industry (CNI), in Brasília (DF). Registration is open and can be done via the Abiove website (abiove.org.br/).
Topics such as the storage deficit, the competitiveness of waterways and ports, bottlenecks and demands on road and rail transport will be discussed by experts, executives and special guests such as ministers Geraldo Alckmin (Development, Industry, Commerce and Services and Vice-President of República), Silvio Costa Filho (Ports and Airports), Renan Filho (Transport) and Augusto Nardes (Federal Audit Court).
The general director of the National Waterway Transport Agency (Antaq), Eduardo Nery, the general director of the National Land Transport Agency (ANTT), Rafael Vitale, and the president of the CNI, Ricardo Alban, will also participate.
On this occasion, the leaders of the entities will deliver to the authorities the 'Carta Brasil 2030: users' position on Brazilian logistics', in which they express their opinion of full support for public policies that lead to economic growth, sustainable and socially balanced development, increasing the systemic competitiveness of the economy and representative democracy.
