Secretariat of Agriculture of Rio Grande do Sul issues Plant Transit Permit via email

Requests for Plant Transit Permits (PTV) are being issued by email by the Department of Plant Defense of the Secretariat of Agriculture, Livestock, Sustainable Production and Irrigation (DDV/Seapi). The extraordinary measure to issue the certification document is due to the loss of air from the Agricultural Defense System (SDA), due to flooding in the Procergs data center.

Interested parties must send the request to transito-vegetal@agricultura.rs.gov.br, containing the following information and documents:

Digitized invoice. In the absence of the document, inform:

- number and series of the Invoice

- name of the interested party

- full address with name of the municipality, neighborhood and zip code

- CNPJ/CPF

- State registration

- Recipient's name

- full destination address, with name of the municipality

- CNPJ/CPF of destination

- country of destination and state of destination

- State Registration of Destination.

You must also inform:

• type of product (orange fruit, apple fruit, among others) - not necessary if the Invoice is presented;
• quantity of product - not necessary if presented with the Invoice;
• unit (KG, Tons) - not necessary if the Invoice is presented;
• CFO, CFOC, PTV or CF (in the absence of the CFO or CFOC document, inform the number of the last valid document);
• vehicle (truck, etc.) - not necessary if the Invoice is presented;
• vehicle license plate - not necessary if the invoice is presented;
• name of the Technical Manager - not necessary if the CFO/CFOC is presented;
• Qualification number of the Technical Manager - not necessary if the CFO/CFOC is presented.

State agricultural inspectors will be answering via email and providing the necessary guidance. PTV documents will be sent in response to the request, via email transito-vegetal@agricultura.rs.gov.br. 

Interstate transit must be accompanied by the Invoice and the PTV document.
