Santander Universities, together with Cambridge Judge Business School University, an institution recognized worldwide for its research on sustainability issues, have opened applications for a program of 1.000 free scholarships, the Santander Sustainability | Green Transition.
The international program will last six weeks and will provide a global view of environmental problems and challenges, covering topics such as biodiversity loss, deforestation, renewable energy, circular economy and also showing what leadership skills are needed to carry out the necessary energy transition. The online course will bring examples and success stories from companies with a strong track record in applying ESG (environmental, social and good governance) criteria.
The scholarships are aimed at people who wish to actively participate in green initiatives in their workplace, regardless of sector, or who seek to reorient their professional careers towards sustainability. For Nicolás Vergara, superintendent of Santander Universities, the green transition is the most urgent and comprehensive challenge we face.
“The Santander | Sustainability Green Transition was built to provide the conditions for students to be able to face the enormous challenges that arise, whether individually or institutionally. Collaboration with an institution the size of Cambridge Judge Business School will provide even more value for all participants”, he says.
The program will present the tools necessary to engage in sustainable initiatives developed in professional environments, in addition to analyzing and understanding how companies are reacting to climate change.
Scholarships can be requested until June 9th at the link https://app.becas-santander.com/pt-BR/program/becas-santander-sustainability-skills-for-the-green-transition-cambridge-judge-business-school. Scholarships are free and available in three languages (Portuguese, English and Spanish).
The program does not require a university degree. Participants will receive a certificate of completion awarded by Cambridge Judge Business School.
