A traditional participant in the ANDAV Congress – Forum & Exhibition, to be held from the 12th to the 14th of August, in São Paulo, Santa Clara Agrociência has prepared a series of innovations to present at this year's edition. The company, which is a leader in technological innovation in nutrition and plant protection, will take advantage of the presence of a qualified visitation of more than 5 thousand people directly linked to agribusiness and who are expected during the three days of the event, to detail the benefits of its latest launches aimed at helping to increase the productivity of Brazilian agriculture.

Among the products highlighted on its stand at the Exhibition, special emphasis will be placed on the new line of Silox adjuvants, made up of six compounds that can be applied to all types of crops. In general, they all contribute to a significant improvement in the quality of spraying. Its new formulations allow greater efficiency in the application of agricultural inputs, enabling better dilution of the drops, thus favoring a more homogeneous spread of the syrup over the plantation, which results in better use of the inputs, with a consequent reduction in waste.

Another positive effect of the Silox line is that it improves the physical-chemical attributes of the syrup, such as adjusting the ideal pH, an action that reduces drift, and anti-foaming, among others, increasing the effectiveness of the application of the products in the field. Innovation also has an important action, which is to improve the compatibility of mixtures, with the aim of seeking better applicability of inputs. All of this helps the proper functioning of spraying equipment, as the constant clogging of nozzles, for example, reduces the operator's efficiency, as he has to make several stops to check what is happening and unclog the part. Also due to its composition, the product is able to ensure that, when spraying the input, it spreads more homogeneously across the plantation, resulting in greater coverage of the target.

Finally, the new Santa Clara line tends to cause less contamination in neighboring crops, as well as reducing the risk of environmental contamination. Greater efficiency helps to avoid successive spraying, which reduces the excessive use of products in the same area, which can generate problems, such as resistance to pests, diseases or the proliferation of weeds. In addition to the Silox line, Santa Clara will also demonstrate at the ANDAV Congress, Protex, an anti-stress sunscreen for plants, as well as its new generation of natural plant biostimulants, Matriz G, which improves the germination of plants from different crops, and the Totale SC Line, nutrition with a high concentration of nanoparticles, which helps and enhances crop development.

All of these products are the result of the strategy adopted by Santa Clara to allocate constant and significant investment in research and development. This practice is constantly reinforced by a series of partnerships with the most renowned research institutes in the country. At the recent International Conference that the company promotes annually in Ribeirão Preto, two new initiatives in this regard were announced.

In addition to signing another partnership between Santa Clara, Embrapa and Embrapii – Brazilian Company for Industrial Research and Innovation, to carry out research aimed at developing a bionematicide, a cooperation partnership was also signed with ESALQ – Escola Superior of Agriculture Luiz de Queiroz and Embrapii, whose objective is to research and develop biofungicides based on essential oils extracted from plants.
