For the third consecutive year, SLC Agrícola maintains the largest area certified by the international Regenagri program in the Americas. The company has expanded its area dedicated to the sustainable cultivation of soybeans, cotton, and corn to 325 hectares across ten production units.
The volume exceeds the 2025 cycle by 79%, when the company had 181.527 hectares certified. The increase occurred with the inclusion of the Panorama (BA), Parnaíba (MA), Paiaguás (MT), and Perdizes (MT) units. These are in addition to the Planalto (MS), Pamplona (GO), Palmares (BA), Pantanal (MS), Planeste (MA), and Planorte (MT) farms, which are already certified.
The company aims to have 550 hectares certified by 2030. The strategy seeks to consolidate its leadership in sustainability and productivity through regenerative agriculture practices.
The Regenagri seal certifies the adoption of techniques that prioritize ecosystem health. These include no-till farming, crop rotation, year-round vegetation cover, and increased use of biological inputs. The model prioritizes increasing soil organic matter, protecting biodiversity, reducing greenhouse gas emissions, and sequestering carbon. The certification is subject to independent auditing by the Dutch company Control Union.
Álvaro Dilli, the company's Director of Human Resources and Sustainability, states that the milestone of ten certified units demonstrates a commitment to the ESG agenda. According to him, the expansion of this area shows the viability of applying new practices on a large scale and boosting the evolution of Brazilian agribusiness.
