AGCO and Trimble announce creation of PTx Trimble
The deal aims to integrate Trimble's precision agriculture division and AGCO's JCA Technologies, creating a company aimed at offering innovative solutions for farmers
The Ministry of Agriculture (Mapa) made ten programs available to the State of São Paulo for partnerships with city halls, state government, public consortia, public companies, mixed-capital companies and civil society organizations. In all of them, the resource must be released through a parliamentary amendment.
According to Guilherme Fracarolli, head of the Agreement Analysis and Monitoring Center (Nuac) of the Superintendence of Agriculture and Livestock in the State of São Paulo (SFA-SP), the resources can be applied to equipment, execution of costs, works and services engineering, depending on the program.
Instruments vary. The model can be a transfer contract, agreement or development agreement. In general, the agreements cover the purchase of agricultural implements by city halls. The so-called transfer contracts, similar to agreements, are usually intended for works. The development term is a modality that aims to stimulate some actions related to agriculture in municipalities through Civil Society Organizations.
The first program was released for São Paulo on March 4th and the last, open, ends on May 31st. They can all be consulted on the Transferegov platform.
In addition to intermediating the transfers, the Rural Development Division (DDR) of the Superintendency monitors and inspects whether the resources have been applied to the planned actions. “It is essential that mayors, consortia and civil society organizations mobilize deputies and senators from their regions to make transfers viable through parliamentary amendments,” said superintendent Guilherme Campos.
