Robusta coffee prices fluctuated throughout April, but closed the month down, pressured by the growth in the supply of lots from the 2022/23 harvest, according to information from Cepea. The CEPEA/ESALQ Indicator for Robusta type 6, sieve 13 above, closed at R$ 791,98/sc on April 29th, a decrease of 1,6% compared to March 31st.
Domestic Arabica coffee prices fluctuated strongly in April, reflecting variations in international Arabica and dollar prices. On the 11th, the CEPEA/ESALQ Indicator for Arabica type 6, placed in the capital of São Paulo, reached R$ 1.287,36/sc of 60 kg, the maximum of the month, but on the 20th, it fell to R$ 1.213,90/ sc.
