Rabobank Brasil announces new CFO for South America

The Rabobank Group, made up of institutions with global operations, specialized in financial and strategic solutions for agribusiness, announces the hiring of Accounting master, Maikel van Zaanen, as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) for the South America region and Executive Director from Rabobank Brasil. 

At the bank since 2015, the executive was involved in a series of key projects for the bank in the areas of finance and risk, including the implementation of the new accounting rules IFRS 9 and Basel IV – regulatory capital and redesign of the performance management structure from Rabobank.

The executive worked in the Wholesale & Rural Controllership, focused on managing and measuring the performance of global operations. Maikel has 15 years of experience in the financial sector and has a postgraduate degree in Auditing - Dutch Chartered Accountant, in addition to obtaining CPA certification from the United States.
