The wheat harvest began in Rio Grande do Sul and continues to advance in other regions of the country, according to Cepea employees. This year, cereal production in the state of Rio Grande do Sul could reach 3,59 million tons, a record, and above the supply from Paraná, which currently maintains its position as the largest national producer.

Internal market

According to data from Cepea, prices in Brazil moved in opposite directions last week. In Paraná, where the harvest is more advanced, prices fell, pressured by greater supply. On the other hand, the appreciation of the dollar favors an increase in prices in some regions, especially in the lot market.
