BNDES launches Program to promote Green Hydrogen
The objective is to build sources of financing that help make Brazil a major energy exporter
The Matopiba region is a reference in Central Brazil in seed production, especially soy, cotton and forage. In the case of Bahia, close to 15% of soybean areas are officially dedicated to seed production.
To learn about this reality, a delegation of 38 seed producers associated with Apassul-Association of Producers and Traders of Seeds and Seedlings of Rio Grande do Sul, visited the seed production industry in Bahia in the last week of June. The exchange of experiences was unique, in an environment with a different climate, soil and business profile than in the south of the country.
Visits to seed production and processing units and quality control laboratories were carried out, along with extensive discussions with members of Aprosem-Association of Seed Producers of the States of Matopiba. The exchange and strengthening of relationships between businesspeople in the sector were the highlight of the mission.
Knowing each person's story and the challenges of producing higher quality seeds were the topics that caught the attention of producers in Rio Grande do Sul. The interaction between compatriots from Bahia and Rio Grande do Sul crowned the agenda, in which there was a barbecue and chimarrão present, to keep everyone at home.
To contribute to the success of the Apassul technical mission, teams from Aprosem and Bayer participated, providing the opportunity for the group to best translate the processes, equipment and innovations used in seed production in Bahia. The teams of Aprosem associates, including Sementes Oilema, Eliane, Morinaga and SLC, promoted special agendas to make one of the most important missions in the Brazilian sector this year.
