Operation monitors national production of nitrogen fertilizers in Bahia
15 fertilizer producing establishments, two importers and two storage service providers were inspected
This week, the Irga survey reveals that producers in Rio Grande do Sul have already sown 90,54% of the 2022/2023 rice harvest. So far, 780.863 hectares of the planned 862.498 ha have been sown.
The numbers are calculated by the institute's Technical Assistance and Rural Extension Division (Dater) based on information collected by the teams from the municipality's Technical Assistance and Rural Extension Centers (Nates) with rice producers in RS.
Work is practically completed in the South Zone, where 99,10% of the planned area has already been sown (138.287 ha of the estimated 139.543 ha). With 96,51% is Fronteira Oeste (250.277 ha out of 259.321 ha). The Campaign records 94,61% (121.486 ha out of 128.402 ha).
The Inner Coastal Plain has 89,46% of the sown area (110.775 ha out of an estimated 123.830 ha). The Outer Coastal Plain is at 82,39% (78.846 ha out of 95.699 ha). And the Central Depression presents 70,17% of the predicted area (81.192 ha out of 115.703 ha).
