UPL, one of the four largest agricultural solutions companies in Brazil, participated in the 25th Summer Technological Show, run by Fundação ABC, in Ponta Grossa (PR). The company presented its broad portfolio of phytosanitary solutions for corn and beans, in addition to soybeans , focusing on the new, modern and effective fungicide: Evolution.
"Fungi, such as anthracnose, leaf blight, target spot, powdery mildew and Asian rust, are challenging for soybean growers. To help them, UPL developed Evolution, which is scientifically tested and proven effective ", stated the Marketing Manager for fungicides at UPL, Marcelo Figueira.
Figueira explained that UPL's new fungicide has three active ingredients that complement each other, with multisite and systemic action in a single product. "This concept, created by UPL, means that the product acts on different points in the metabolism of fungi, preventing them from creating resistance to fungicides, providing greater safety and control of the complex of soybean diseases, contributing to the maintenance of productive potential , effective resistance management and high productivity", he commented.
The fight against insects was also on the agenda at the UPL stand, with Sperto and Perito. "Both are known to producers for their excellent effectiveness, reducing damage caused by the main pests of soybeans, corn and beans, such as stink bugs, whiteflies and leafhoppers", highlighted Sergio Chidi, marketing manager for insecticides at UPL .
Against weeds, the company brought information to the event about its most recent launch: Lifeline-Sync, the first formulation of S-Metolachlor with Glufosinate on the Brazilian market and essential resistance management. The line of biosolutions focused on the Biozyme physioactivator, which provides nutrients and guarantees the quality of the crop.
