Project trains producers on the use of pesticides in São Paulo.

The São Paulo State Department of Agriculture and Supply (SAA), through its Agricultural Defense division, is promoting the first event of the "Producing Safe Food" project on September 16th and 17th in the municipality of Itapetininga (SP). The agenda will include lectures on technical responsibility in prescription and storage, the correct use of pesticides, and technical activities aimed at Young Agricultural Entrepreneurs. 

This initiative is part of the actions of the State Program for the Analysis of Pesticide and Related Substance Residues in Products of Plant Origin (Peara-POV). All activities are free of charge, and those interested should register using the official form (https://bit.ly/4qV6UI4).

The initiative has the technical and institutional cooperation of Aenda and representative entities of the sector, including Adiaesp, CropLife Brasil, Faesp/Senar-SP, Inpev, Ocesp and Sindiveg. The partnership was formalized in April of this year, through a letter of intent signed with the Secretariat of Agriculture and Supply. 

Collection of packaging 

On the morning of the 17th, there will also be a collection of pesticide packaging. The action, promoted by Inpev, will include the collection of packaging with leftover expired products.

For the return of packaging containing leftover expired products, it is necessary to fill out the form beforehand, specifying the quantity to be returned.
