Professor from Spain presents the use of Trichoderma for the biological control of plant diseases in Holambra

Professor Enrique Monte, from the University of Salamanca, Spain, will be at the Holambra Inputs Cooperative, on February 14, 2011 from 16 pm to 18 pm, to talk about the use of Trichoderma for the biological control of plant diseases.

 

According to Wagner Bettiol, researcher at Embrapa Meio Ambiente, responsible for the seminar, in partnership with the Phytosanitary Adequacy Forum, Trichoderma is the main biocontrol agent used to control soil-dwelling pathogens. Therefore, it is extremely important to discuss its mechanisms of action, as well as forms of application, product quality and other aspects related to management for successful biological control.
