Lar Cooperativa concluded its 2025/2026 pre-assembly cycle in Mato Grosso do Sul in early December. A total of 19 meetings were held in two stages, bringing together member families from 19 municipalities. The meetings reinforced the cooperative's transparency and strategic planning.
According to the CEO, Irineo da Costa Rodrigues, the 2025 performance exceeded expectations, despite the challenges in the field. “The year was very good. We surpassed revenue and financial results targets. Even with the setback in soybean production in the southern half of the state and the impacts of avian flu, we managed to move forward and guarantee a consistent result,” he stated.
The meetings — led by Irineo Rodrigues and the 1st vice-president, Diogo Sezar de Mattia — brought together members from Sete Quedas, Amambai, Aral Moreira, Itahum, Bela Vista, Antônio João, Ponta Porã, Rio Brilhante, Dourados/Douradina, Laguna Carapã, Caarapó, Bonito, Sidrolândia, Campo Grande, Bandeirantes, São Gabriel do Oeste, Chapadão do Sul, Sonora and Maracaju.
During the cycle, the results for 2025, investments, and strategic themes related to the cooperative's growth were presented, including profit distribution, performance by segment, expansion, technological innovation, sustainability, training, and local demands.
Lar is now moving on to the pre-assembly phase in Paraná and Santa Catarina, between January 13 and 23, where it will hold 16 more meetings with members. The process culminates in the Ordinary General Assembly, scheduled for January 30, 2026, at the cooperative's Administrative Center in Medianeira (PR).
