Pioneer, a seed brand of Corteva Agriscience, announces Ana Paula Nascimento (pictured) as its new "leader" for Brazil and Paraguay. With over 18 years of experience in agribusiness, the "leader" of the Product Agronomy team at Corteva Agriscience now assumes the mission of reinforcing Pioneer's leading role in corn, in addition to expanding the sorghum business in the country.
The appointment comes in a symbolic year for Pioneer, which is celebrating its global centenary. With more than 50 years in Brazil, the brand has been a leader in the corn market for two consecutive decades, according to the consulting firm Kynetec.
Originally from the interior of Minas Gerais, Ana Paula holds a degree in Agricultural Engineering and a Master's degree in Phytotechnics from the Federal University of Uberlândia. She has built a solid career combining technical knowledge, strategic vision, and a passion for developing people, products, and brands. Throughout her career, she has worked in various areas of the seed business, accumulating a broad market perspective and contributing to the strengthening of important brands, always focused on generating value for the farmer.
In taking on this new challenge, she reinforces her commitment to innovation, customer proximity, and building strategies that further strengthen Pioneer's connection with Brazilian producers. "I believe the future is built by uniting science, technology, people, and genuinely listening to those who are in the field every day," says the executive.
With collaborative and results-oriented leadership, Ana Nascimento begins this new chapter with the purpose of strengthening a brand that has been a benchmark in productivity, innovation, and trust for decades, helping producers cultivate the future of agriculture.
“I take on this new challenge with great honor. Leading Pioneer, a brand with such a solid history and so valued by farmers, is very valuable for my career. My commitment is to use my experience and dedication to contribute even more to the development of solutions that meet the needs of the field, helping farmers at all times,” comments Ana Paula.
