Research on cultivars boosts productivity at Copacol.
The cooperative's 35th Field Day brought together 1,5 participants and presented studies from the Agricultural Research Center.
PI AgSciences — the company that incorporated Plant Health Care (PHC) — is starting 2026 by participating in the agricultural events circuit to present its technologies focused on the sustainable management of soybeans and corn. On January 14th, the company will be present at the 1st Field Day of GDK Agricultural Inputs, in the city of Caarapó, Mato Grosso do Sul (MS). On the same day, the company will also participate in the largest fair in the Araguaia Valley region: Dinetec, in Canarana, Mato Grosso (MT).
For better nematode control, PI AgSciences will present to producers in both regions the benefits of seed treatment with Teikko, a sustainable biochemical nematicide with a peptide-based formulation. Another highlight will be Saori, the only fungicide registered for seed treatment with an effect on soybean foliar diseases. Finally, the company will showcase the HPlant bioactivator, which stimulates the plant's defense system for a crop more resilient to adverse weather conditions.
The activities of the 1st GDK Agricultural Inputs Field Day will take place at the Santo Antonio farm, with knowledge exchange and connections around the challenges of soybean and corn cultivation and the best solutions for their development. A highlight will be the management of nematodes, increasingly present in the soil of crops in the region, which will be discussed in a lecture by Andressa Brida, a researcher from the Mato Grosso Foundation.
Jean Schiavi, responsible for technical sales in the Mato Grosso do Sul region, will present the field results of PI AgSciences technologies during the event. According to him, the partnership with GDK fulfills the mission of two companies committed to technological innovation.
Starting January 14th, PI AgSciences will begin an important partnership with Agrícola Alvorada, participating in a series of events taking place in cities across Mato Grosso during the first half of 2026. Among these events is Dinetec, where the company will present its solutions focused on respecting the soil and the environment.
“Peptide technology brings an innovation to agriculture that changes crop protection standards, and the partnership between Agrícola Alvorada and PI AgSciences makes all of this available to farmers in a simple and accessible way,” concludes Ciro Branco de Miranda Filho, commercial technician for PI AgSciences in the region.
