Biological nitrogen fixation reduces N2O in beans by 50% in the Cerrado region.
The result was observed in an integrated production system and highlights the benefits of biological nitrogen fixation (BNF) as an alternative to fertilizers.
This Saturday (January 31st), PI AgSciences - the company that incorporated Plant Health Care (PHC) - will debut at the PA Summit 2026 - 13th Field Day. The event is promoted by PA agronomic consulting and takes place at Fazenda São Paulo, in the Diamantino region, in Mato Grosso.
The event is expected to bring together 50 exhibitors in 3.500 m² distributed between the Exhibition Fair and Demonstration Fields. For producers in the region, PI AgSciences will present its technologies that are transforming agriculture and impacting crop management with respect for the soil and the environment. Among them are the Teikko, Saori, and HPlant products.
Teikko is a sustainable, peptide-based biochemical nematicide for seed treatment. It promises to reduce nematode attacks. Another innovation is Saori, the only fungicide registered for seed treatment with an effect on soybean foliar diseases. Saori is a bioactivator that stimulates the plant's defense system, focusing on resilience to adverse weather conditions.
“Participating in a major event in the Parecis region alongside one of the largest consulting firms in Mato Grosso is fundamental for us who are in the field verifying the positive results obtained among producers who have already seen the enormous benefit of soybean management with PI AgSciences solutions,” emphasizes Gabriel Dutra, the technician responsible for market development at PI AgSciences in the region.
