BRS Jacundá cassava promises to triple productivity in Amazonas
Cultivar will be launched in October in Manaus and can strengthen the rural economy and food security in the state.
On October 1st, Plant Health Care (PHC), a global company belonging to the PI Industries group, began its 10th anniversary celebrations in Brazil with an event at the headquarters of the São Paulo State Sugarcane Planters' Cooperative (Coplacana) in Piracicaba, São Paulo. The ceremony included a tribute to the cooperative for its 77th anniversary, which will be celebrated on October 10th.
Coplacana was the first sugarcane growers' cooperative to be founded in São Paulo in 1948, aiming to provide inputs and assistance to rural producers. The occasion also highlighted the seven-year partnership between PHC and Coplacana, a union that combines cooperative tradition with innovation in agricultural protection and productivity technologies.
The president of Coplacana was present, Marcos Farah (pictured above, left), PHC's global CEO, Jagresh Rana (pictured above, right) – who came to Brazil especially for the opening of the celebrations – in addition to teams from both organizations.
The meeting celebrated achievements, reaffirmed commitments, and projected an even more promising future for producers and partners.
