RS 2025/26 Harvest: corn sowing reaches 62% of the total area
The rains recorded last week favored the growth of newly planted crops
Plant Health Care (PHC), a global company belonging to the PI Industries group, is participating in the first edition of AraçaCana 2025, alongside Coplacana. The event marks the beginning of PHC's 10th anniversary in Brazil, which begins in October and will feature the presentation of sustainable solutions for biostimulation and crop protection.
At the event, PHC will showcase the action of H2Copla, a technology based on the Harpin protein, in a demonstration field and technology showcase. According to the company, the product promotes increased productivity levels in sustainable sugarcane cultivation, even under adverse environmental conditions of temperature and humidity.
PHC's global CEO, Jagresh Rana, emphasizes the importance of providing producers with different tools to face challenges in the field. For example, in the northwestern region of São Paulo, which experienced strong climate fluctuations this year—with temperatures reaching 7,6°C in Araçatuba (Ciiagro)—producers reported that H2Copla was effective in protecting sugarcane from the cold.
“Comparing the treated and untreated areas, we saw that the plants that received H2Copla are taller and more developed, while the standard area has significant gaps,” confirms Caio Salles, a PHC specialist.
Since 2015, PHC has been expanding its market in Brazil with solutions that integrate productivity, sustainability, and food security. In partnership with Coplacana, the company reinforces its commitment to delivering technologies that enable producers to address climate challenges, increase profitability, and advance toward regenerative agriculture.
The presence at AraçaCana kicks off a series of events that will mark PHC's 10-year anniversary in Brazil, contributing to the advancement of national agribusiness. "More than a decade of innovation, this journey was built hand in hand with researchers, producers, mills, partners, and collaborators. The future will be even more extraordinary, guided by the purpose of transforming agriculture sustainably," concludes Rodrigo Egéa de Miranda, PHC's Business Director in Brazil.
