SC Harvest 2025/26: Drop in rice prices worries producers
Epagri's report indicates a decline in planted area and productivity, while corn advances and apples are expected to see a strong recovery.
Fazenda Maritaca, in Angélica (MS), will host Cepa Farm MS, one of the main technical events in the sugarcane and energy sector in the state, from November 24th to 26th. Among the participating companies is Plant Health Care (PHC), which will present the results obtained with Harpin (H2Copla) technology in the sustainable management of sugarcane.
During the Field Days, producers and technicians will be able to observe in demonstration areas the effects of the H2Copla application carried out in May in the planting furrow. According to the company, the treatment has resulted in plants with greater vegetative vigor, better foliage and more developed size, as well as a greater number of stems per square meter.
PHC works in partnership with Coplacana in the region, offering solutions aimed at increasing productivity and crop resilience in the face of adverse weather conditions. Present in Brazil for a decade, the company states that it has been expanding the use of technologies geared towards regenerative agriculture, focusing on greater productive efficiency.
H2Copla utilizes Harpin technology, which activates the plant's natural defense mechanisms, stimulating increased photosynthesis and root development. This increases the plant's ability to absorb water and nutrients, contributing to higher productivity. According to PHC, the solution is compatible with different management practices and leaves no residue in the soil or the environment.
The company also emphasizes that the technologies presented at the event are aligned with sustainable practices and the strengthening of more efficient agricultural systems with less environmental impact.
