Overtime remuneration and salary floor are defined in the Rural Collective Agreement

One of the highlights of the meeting was related to remuneration for overtime, which defined that the daily working day could be extended by up to four overtime hours. This determination refers to operators of motor vehicles designed to pull or drag machinery of any nature; of tractors, harvesters, self-propelled vehicles and other self-propelled devices intended for pulling or dragging agricultural machinery or carrying out agricultural work.

With the change defined at this Tuesday's meeting, the increase in value for the third and fourth overtime will be 70% (seventy percent) of the normal hour.

Furthermore, another established definition was the minimum salary for rural workers in the State, which, from March 1, 2016, will be R$963, effective until February 28, 2017. The adjustment of 12,63% on the current value, R$855, is the result of negotiations between representatives of producers and rural workers in the State.

For rural workers who receive above the current rural minimum, the minimum adjustment set will be 8,5%, as long as the final value does not fall below the minimum established on today's date.

The negotiation will have consequences for rural workers across the State, rural employees, permanent and temporary, who carry out agricultural activities, plant extractivism, forestry extraction, reforestation activities and extraction of woody material and farm office employees.
