Otto Vilas Boas, former commercial director of Cooxupé and a big name in Brazilian coffee farming who contributed significantly to its development, died in the early hours of Thursday, June 22nd. He was also one of the oldest members.
“Seu Otto”, as he was affectionately called, started working at Cooxupé in the 60s, achieving an upward professional trajectory. He was a member of the cooperative and a great enthusiast of cooperativism.
Passionate about coffee, Otto Vilas Boas contributed during his 60 years of activity in coffee growing to the needs and desires of the producer, prioritizing quality service to members.
