Orange prices remain weak this week. According to Cepea employees, despite the higher temperatures and the beginning of the month, sales did not increase to the point of sustaining the values.

In the partial part of the week (from Monday to Thursday), the pear variety has an average of R$ 33,57/box of 40,8 kg, on the tree, stable in relation to the previous one. Ruby had an average of R$30,46/cx, a decrease of 3,05% in the same comparison.

In the case of Tahiti lime, even with the forecast of a decrease in supply this month, prices did not react. The average sales in the partial part of the week is R$ 13,86/box of 27 kg, harvested, with stability in the same comparison.

Recently, the shipment of Tahiti by some exporting companies to the European Union was suspended for 60 days, due to the detection of citrus canker in cargo. This scenario, in turn, could limit possible reactions in domestic fruit prices in the coming weeks.
