With the conilon coffee harvest scheduled for the end of April and beginning of May, northern Espírito Santo enters one of the most strategic periods for coffee farming. In Linhares, one of the country's main producing centers, the pre-harvest period mobilizes producers, technicians, and companies in the sector around practices that directly impact the productivity and quality of the crop.

In this context, Valence Massey Ferguson, a Valence Group dealership dedicated to agribusiness, participated in the Field Day – 5th pre-harvest of conilon coffee, held in the municipality with the presence of approximately 300 producers. The event, which took place last week, was organized by the Municipality of Linhares and the Association of Producers and Residents of Baixo Quartel (Aprombaq).

In Linhares, Valence Massey Ferguson presents solutions that address different stages of coffee cultivation, from soil preparation to crop management. Highlights include models such as the MF 3407, in a cab version, and the MF 4408, designed for operations requiring higher productivity with fuel efficiency.

“The pre-harvest period is a crucial time for the producer, and access to technical information makes all the difference. Our role is to provide solutions that support the entire coffee cycle, with machines prepared for daily handling and technologies that contribute to productivity in the field,” explains Victor Belo, the company's sales manager.

Victor also points out that the equipment incorporates technical features that directly impact the operation. “We work with tractors that offer greater hydraulic control, continuous flow in the valves, and cooling systems that guarantee performance in the most demanding activities. In the case of coffee, the super speed reducer is also an important differentiator for operations such as shredding pruning waste,” he explains.

The company's participation reinforces its close relationship with the field, especially in a state that leads national production of the crop. Espírito Santo accounts for approximately 70% of the Robusta coffee produced in Brazil and has this activity as one of the main pillars of its agricultural economy. In 2025, state production reached 14,2 million bags, a significant increase compared to the previous year.

Linhares is a significant part of this scenario. Conilon coffee cultivation is present in a large portion of the municipality's rural properties, mainly carried out by family farmers. At the same time, local production is advancing in technology, with the use of irrigation, improved clones, and modern management practices, in addition to a consistent movement towards valuing coffee quality.
