Soybean planting reaches 60% of the estimated area in RS
Productivity is projected at an average of 3.179 kg per hectare
The official launch of Norte Show 2025, which will take place from April 14 to 17 in Sinop (MT), was marked by announcements that reinforce the importance and impact of the event in the agribusiness sector. Among the main novelties are the expansion of the area for the next edition and the forecast of construction of a new park for 2027, in an area of 60 hectares, aimed at modernizing and expanding the fair.
The president of the Northern Breeders Association (Acrinorte), Moisés Debastiani, highlighted the challenges and continued growth of the fair, which in 2024 already dealt with a high demand for exhibitors. He points out that over the years the list of companies that want to participate in the fair has been growing and although next year's edition already has 400 exhibitors, 50 more than last year, there is still a waiting list for 2026.
Furthermore, Debastiani announced the approval of a significant change for the future of the fair. “In a general meeting, we approved the construction of a new park, in an area of 60 hectares, with potential for expansion. The goal is to open a modern and technological space by 2027, consolidating Norte Show among the six largest fairs in Brazil. Today, we are in 10th place, with only five editions held, but we strongly believe in the potential for 2025 and 2026 to surpass ourselves even further,” he declared during the launch.
The president of the Sinop Rural Union, Ilson Redivo, also highlighted that Norte Show is not just a fair, it is a milestone for agribusiness and for the region. He also emphasized that it is a privilege for Sinop to host one of the largest agricultural fairs in the country.
“This is an event that goes beyond generating business – it transforms lives, connects people and creates opportunities. It is a space where producers can find cutting-edge technology, knowledge and partnerships that make a difference in the field. For us at the Sinop Rural Union, it is a source of pride and commitment to be partners in this fair that grows every year and elevates the name of Mato Grosso as one of the great hubs of Brazilian agribusiness. With the new events for 2025, I am certain that we will continue to make history and show Brazil the strength of the agribusiness that thrives here,” stated Redivo.
Norte Show has already established itself as one of the largest events in the sector in Brazil. The 2024 edition brought together more than 70 thousand visitors, around 350 exhibitors and generated more than R$ 4 billion in business, boosting the local economy with significant impacts on hotels, restaurants and businesses in Sinop and the region.
In 2025, the fair promises to offer even more opportunities for the agribusiness sector, with the expansion of the area and the inclusion of new technologies. There will be more than 1.800 brands on display, a robust educational program with the Campus Norte Show – which connects university students to the market – and the already traditional Norte Show Kids, which seeks to train future generations of agribusiness.
Other highlights include seminars, auctions and the 100% Meat event, which celebrates Mato Grosso's livestock farming with a gastronomic spectacle that brings together the best cuts in a friendly atmosphere.
With the expansion of the area in 2025 and the construction of a new park by 2027, the fair reinforces its commitment to connecting people and businesses, boosting the local economy and consolidating Sinop as one of the most important hubs of Brazilian agribusiness.
The 2025 edition promises to surprise and mark the history of the sector once again. Stand sales are continuing at a fast pace, with all spaces expected to be sold out in the coming months. Norte Show continues to prove that it is more than an event: it is a movement that is transforming the future of agribusiness.
