Next week there is a possibility of frost in Rio Grande do Sul.

Next week, temperatures will be declining and there is a possibility of frost in Rio Grande do Sul. This is according to the Integrated Agrometeorological Bulletin 24/2026, prepared by the Secretariat of Agriculture (Seapi), in partnership with Emater/RS and the Rio Grande do Sul Rice Institute (Irga).  

Friday (12/6): The movement of a low-pressure system, which will evolve into a cold front, is expected to bring unstable weather to virtually the entire state. Consequently, rain is forecast in almost all regions over the next few days.

Saturday (13/6) e Sunday (14/6): The system will move away, diminishing its influence over the state of Rio Grande do Sul. Therefore, rain will only occur in isolated areas of the state, mainly in the northernmost regions and those closer to the coast. Starting Sunday, temperatures will begin to decline. Between Friday and Sunday, there is a possibility of occasional wind gusts near the coast of Rio Grande do Sul.

Monday (15 / 6) to Wednesday (17/6): A drier and colder air mass will influence the weather across the entire state. Therefore, the weather will become stable again, and no significant rainfall is expected. Due to the drop in temperature during these days, there is a possibility of frost in some regions of the state, with a higher chance in the Western Border, Campanha, Serra, and Campos de Cima da Serra regions.

Rainfall totals are expected to reach up to 50 millimeters throughout the week, with some isolated areas potentially exceeding that amount.
