New tipper doubles Brado's grain flow in MT

Brado has just inaugurated its second truck tipper at the Rondonópolis (MT) terminal. The equipment's installed capacity allows simultaneous operations, potentially doubling production volume and reaching up to 180 trucks per day.

The new structure represents a significant advance in the internal stuffing capacity of grains, such as soybeans, corn and bran, optimizing the logistics flow at a crucial moment for Brazilian agribusiness. The National Supply Company (Conab) estimates an increase of approximately 11% in Brazilian corn production for the 2024/25 harvest compared to the previous harvest, reaching 328,3 million tons. Mato Grosso, one of the main producing centers, led corn exports in 2024 with more than 43 million tons.

Regarding soybeans, Conab points to a growth of around 14% in the 2024/25 national harvest, with an estimated production of 167,37 million tons. Mato Grosso also stands out, leading soybean exports in 2024 with 24,89 million tons.

From the Rondonópolis terminal, Brado transports corn to food industries in the interior of São Paulo; soybean meal, soybean and corn meal (DDG) for export. Unlike grains transported in bulk carriers, containerized products gain quality and safety, since the container leaves the terminal sealed. The solution also meets the demand of smaller buyers.

The new tipper also minimizes the risk of cross-contamination between different types of cargo, such as grains and bran, and reduces the need for cleaning and maintenance stops, significantly optimizing response time and operational efficiency. The equipment also results in fewer queues and stops, increasing the fluidity of truck reception, contributing to the terminal's operational availability during a period of high demand for harvests.
