Rice planted area in Goiás should grow by more than 23%, says IBGE
Grain production in the state is expected to reach 110,8 thousand tons, an increase of 17,7% compared to the previous harvest
The Ministry of Agriculture (Mapa) published today Ordinance No. 88/2023, in the Official Gazette of the Union (DOU), which opens the deadline for receiving proposals to contract resources from the Coffee Economy Defense Fund (Funcafé) for the Harvest year 2024/25.
Financial institutions that are part of the National Rural Credit System (SNCR) and authorized to operate Funcafé resources, interested in operating the resources for the 24/25 harvest, will have a period of eight calendar days, counting from the date of publication of the Ordinance, to present the hiring proposal and the documentation required for qualification.
The opening of the deadline for submitting proposals is valid exclusively for financial institutions that signed contracts with Mapa to operationalize Funcafé resources in 2023, and that fall under art. 1st of Resolution No. 5.138/2024, of the National Monetary Council (CMN), with which, if enabled, additional terms will be signed to the aforementioned contracts to reach the 24/25 harvest.
Financial institutions that have not signed a contract in 2023 will be able to present their proposals under the terms of the Accreditation Notice that will be published in due course.
Hiring proposals and qualification documentation must be sent to the Agricultural Policy Secretariat, exclusively via the email address funcafe-contratos@agro.gov.br.
