Brazilian agricultural exports exceed US$ 153 billion in 2024
In November, exports totaled US$ 12,6 billion
According to data from Serasa Experian's Agro Bulletin, among the Brazilian regions, the Central-West recorded the largest amount of credit granted during the second quarter of 2024. R$15.797,5 million were granted in rural and agro-industrial lines of financial resources. Even so, according to the company's unprecedented disclosure, the comparison with the same period in 2023 revealed a drop of 11,9%. See the complete credit data for the region in the table below:
It is important to highlight that this data was analyzed based on approximately 9,8 million rural property owners, those who contracted rural or agro-industrial financing distributed among the universe of individuals who authorize its use in the Positive Registry and/or who have a record of rural producer activity.
In the scenario by Federative Units (UFs), it was possible to identify that Mato Grosso achieved the highest amount in granting of rural and agroindustrial credit to rural producers who act as individuals. The State recorded R$7.343,7 million, with approximately 10,6 thousand contracts that had an average ticket of R$692,3 thousand – higher than the average for the region. Even so, there was a 2,9% drop in the comparison of the overall amount (7,3 million) in the quarter-on-quarter assessment (2024/23).
Still regarding this quarterly comparison (Q2/24 x Q2/23) with the general amount of the States: the Federal District was the only State that registered an increase, of 5,9%. While in Mato Grosso do Sul the drop was the sharpest (-26,3%), and in Goiás there was a retraction of 11,4%. Check the table below for complete information on the scenario of each State:
